Introduction To The World Of Programming
In this course, you learn how to instruct your computer to do anything you want it to do. You learn the fundamentals of programming such as types, variables, expressions, constants. You will the basics of algorithmic expressions such as Functions, Loops and conditional statements. You will also learn how to use data structures such as lists, dictionaries, tuples. With this foundation, you can go on to pick up any programming language of your choice.

This course is for anyone who is enthusiastic about programming. It doesn’t matter if you are in high school, university, or a dad of two. And you don’t need a background in computer science or engineer. All you simply need is to have interest.

HOW THIS COURSE WORKS
The SDP online training puts you in a virtual class with peers who have similar aspirations.
You will be assigned weekly tasks, assignments and hands-on projects.
Your learning process is directly supervised by seasoned tech professionals in the industry called mentors.
This course is for 10 weeks (6-8 weeks for learning, 2-4 weeks for capstone project).
For effective communication, we will use an online document system, group-emails (for Q&A) and periodic chat sessions with mentors.
There will also be performance score measurement.
This course will include a capstone project that will enable you to use all you have learned to build simple useful applications.
